At Jensten Network, we believe that a truly successful network cares for the people behind every business.
This year, following World Mental Health Day and in the lead-up to International Men’s Day, we’re pleased to announce that we’re investing in two key initiatives designed to support the wellbeing of our members:
1. Mental health first aid training
Our Network Development team is undergoing training in Mental Health First Aid. This equips them to recognise signs of poor mental health, provide initial support and guide members toward professional help when needed. With many independent brokers running small businesses, we know how isolating it can be – and we want our team to be there when it matters most.
2. Prostate cancer awareness and early detection
We’re also investing in prostate cancer self-diagnosis kits for our network members in a certain demographic. By offering these kits, we hope to encourage awareness and proactive health management within our community.
One of our valued members, Richard Hopson, has courageously shared his personal experience with prostate cancer. We’ll be sharing his story on International Men’s Day to inspire others and highlight the importance of early testing and open conversations around men’s health.
We are all part of a network, and for me, that means that nobody should feel isolated. When members of the team visit offices in the network, they are there to support the business, but the business doesn’t happen without the people behind it being the best they can be. It’s essential that everyone knows that there are people here who do care and will listen.
Jordan Maskell, Network Director
At Jensten Network, our mission goes beyond business growth. We’re building a network that looks after people emotionally, mentally and physically. Because when we care for our community, we all achieve more.
