Jensten Expo 2026: Celebrating 40 Years of Broker Success

Jensten Expo 2026 at the Coventry Building Society Arena

On Thursday 15 October, we brought together our annual Expo and a landmark milestone in the network's history, the 40th anniversary of Coversure.

To mark the occasion, members of the network, insurer partners and colleagues from across the Jensten Group gathered at the Coventry Building Society Arena for a day focused on growth, collaboration and the future of independent broking. With this year's theme, 'Good to Great', the Expo explored what it takes to build a successful brokerage, sustain growth and continually raise standards in an evolving insurance market.

Going 'Back to the Broker'

The celebrations began the evening before the Expo with Back to the Broker, an exclusive 80s-themed anniversary event for network members attending the conference.

Inspired by Coversure's founding year of 1986, the event transported guests back to a decade of iconic music, arcade games and unforgettable fashion. More importantly, it provided an opportunity for brokers from across the network to reconnect with colleagues, share experiences and celebrate the incredible achievements of Coversure over the last four decades.

The evening was a fitting tribute to the pioneering spirit that helped establish Coversure in 1986 and laid the foundations for the thriving broker community that exists today.

‘Good to Great’

The following morning, attendees gathered for a conference hosted by Jordan Maskell, Network Director, who introduced this year's theme of Good to Great, inspired by the bestselling book by Jim Collins.

The conference featured speakers, insights and discussion designed to help brokers reflect on their own business journeys and identify opportunities for future growth.

Attendees heard from insurance industry legend Andy Homer, who shared his perspectives on leadership and success within the insurance sector.

Representatives from our headline sponsors, AXA, Zurich, Intact and Aviva, also took to the stage, discussing the importance of strong insurer-broker relationships in helping businesses succeed.

One of the day's standout sessions was a panel discussion hosted by Laura Gillard, Head of Network Development, featuring network members Martin Nugus, Ali Mimoglu and David Lucas Balaguer.

The panel explored each broker's journey, the challenges they have overcome and the opportunities they have embraced while building successful Coversure brokerages. Their stories provided powerful, real-world examples of what it means to move from good to great, demonstrating how ambition, commitment and the right support can transform businesses over time.

Launching The Covers Awards

The conference also saw the launch of The Covers Awards, a new recognition programme designed to celebrate excellence across the network.

Announced by Jordan, the awards will recognise outstanding members and their teams from across Coversure, with the inaugural awards ceremony set to take place in 2027.

The initiative reflects our commitment to recognising success, celebrating achievement and showcasing the outstanding work taking place throughout the network.

Conversations that matter

Following the conference, attendees moved to the trading floor where the networking opportunities continued.

The exhibition area brought together insurer partners, Jensten colleagues and network members under one roof, creating a vibrant environment for collaboration and discussion.

Throughout the afternoon, brokers had the opportunity to connect with peers, meet with insurer partners, explore new opportunities and learn more about the specialist support available across the wider Jensten Group.

From business growth and market access to operational support, technology and placement expertise, the conversations taking place throughout the day highlighted the many ways Jensten Network continues to help brokers build stronger businesses.

Supporting the MND Association

Alongside celebrating Coversure's 40th anniversary, the Expo also provided an opportunity to support the MND Association, Coversure's chosen charity partner.

Through fundraising activities and donations made during the event, attendees helped raise awareness and support the charity's vital work supporting people living with motor neurone disease, as well as their families and carers.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed and helped support such an important cause.

Looking ahead

As we reflect on Expo 2026, one thing is clear: the strength of Coversure has always come from its people.

From the brokers who have built successful businesses within the network, to the insurer partners who continue to support them, and the colleagues across Jensten who help deliver value every day, the Expo was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when a community works together.

A huge thank you to our sponsors, speakers, exhibitors, members and colleagues who helped make this year's event such a success.

As we celebrate 40 years of Coversure, we are proud of what has been achieved so far and excited for what comes next.
